Premier League yellow and red cards: Who faces a ban soon? Arsenal, West Ham and Newcastle stars included

With the Premier League season now into April, top-flight players are running the risk of being banned in the final few matches of the campaign.


An accumulation of 10 yellow cards will result in that player having to complete a two-match suspension, a penalty that often causes major headaches for managers.

Southampton’s Oriol Romeu lead the way last season with 11 cautions while Burnley’s Ashley Barnes, Abdoulaye Doucoure of Watford and Arsenal star Granit Xhaka all picked up 10.


Several stars are edging towards the suspension mark this term and could face a stint on the sidelines in the final few weeks.
