Jadon Sancho: England starlet fuels speculation about his future after retweeting post urging Manchester United to sign him

Jadon Sancho has refuelled speculation on his future by retweeting a post on Twitter urging him to join Manchester United…before quickly retracting his actions.

The England and Borussia Dortmund starlet, 18, has been heavily linked with a move back to the Premier League after his brilliant breakthrough season in the Bundesliga.

Sancho has 8 goals and 12 assists in 26 league matches for his club this season – and his good form has fuelled speculation of a big money move in the summer, with Manchester United reportedly interested in his signature.

And it seems the youngster’s preferred destination is indeed Manchester after he retweeted a post by Goal urging the Old Trafford club to sign him.

The post quoted United legend Rio Ferdinand, who was saying he would love to see Sancho in a United shirt.

But the former Man City forward quickly retracted his retweet after it was spotted by some eagle-eyed fans on social media.

Ferdinand said Sancho should join the Red Devils as he has the right attitude and attributes for the club.

“I would take him [at Manchester United] all day. English, young, hungry and talented, that’s all I need to know,” he told Goal.

“He has got mentality. The mentality is a big part of it all, whether he has the physical attributes or not.”

Well the main thing is the top strikers are really, really good. Some players in the second half of the season will improve. Mainly Aguero, Suarez, Ronaldo and Salah. They actual goals scored is currently below their expected goals value. Top strikers like that will usually always end up with a higher goals scored total than expected goals.
