Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will earn more than Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp and Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri.
Manchester United confirmed the Norwegian as their permanent manager on a three-year deal on Thursday.
Solskjaer had impressed in caretaker charge since replacing Jose Mourinho in December, winning 14 of his 19 matches, including a shock 3-1 victory over Paris Saint-Germain earlier this month.
The Mirror report he will earn £7.5million-a-year, which is half the amount of which his predecessor Mourinho took home.
