Chelsea are set for a significant pay day after thrashing Arsenal to win the Europa League.


Eden Hazard bagged a brace on what was probably his final appearance in blue, with Olivier Giroud and Pedro also among the goals in the 4-1 triumph.

As well as the glory of claiming a trophy, Chelsea have injected some funds into their account throughout the competition.


But how much will they take home in prize money after winning the competition?

Chelsea topped their group in the competition which gives them £858,000.

The Blues won five out of six matches, drawing the other in Group L, which totals £2.61m.


They then earned €1,100,000 (£944,000) for getting to the last 16 and €1,500,000 (£1.29m) for getting to the quarter-finals.











For taking part in the semi-finals, Chelsea earned €2,400,000 (£2.06m) and they were guaranteed €4,500,000 (£3.86m) for making the final.


After winning the competition, Chelsea could take home €8,500,000 (£7.3m), with UEFA organisers saying the figures will soon be confirmed.
