Jurgen Klopp sings Salt-N-Pepa classic after Liverpool win Champions League in Madrid

Jurgen Klopp was in the party mood after Liverpool claimed the Champions League trophy on Saturday night.

His side beat Tottenham in Madrid with goals coming from Mohamed Salah and Divock Origi.

Klopp admitted it was one of the best nights of his life as he ended his cup final hoodoo with his first piece of silverware with the Reds.

The German also hit back at his side’s critics and sang a version of Salt-N-Pepa’s classic song Let’s Talk About Sex.

“There are always a couple of people who can tell you ‘yeah but they didn’t win'”, he said in an interview with Norwegian TV channel Via Sport.

“So now, let’s talk about six baby. Let’s talk about you and me. Let’s talk about all the good things and the bad things that may be. Let’s talk about six.”

The Champions League glory also helped put last year’s final loss in Kiev behind them. Klopp had lost his past six major finals, including his previous two Champions League finals.

He predicted it would not be the last trophy he will be bringing back to Anfield in the years to come.

“Now we won something and we will carry on. We want to win things, 100 per cent. I’ve said it, this is only the start for this group,” he said.

“It’s still a wonderful age group, they all have the best times in their careers ahead of them so that’s big.

“For me, I’m really happy. I have a lot of silver medals and now I have a golden one so it’ll be next to the silver medals in my house and that’s cool.

“But mostly I’m happy for all the other people. When you saw it in the dressing room, everybody felt it but you don’t really know what to do with it.

“But I’m really sure when we drive through the city then we all will realise what these boys have done and that’s the best moment, for sure.”
