N’Golo Kante is considering a move to Paris Saint-Germain this summer, according to reports.
The Ligue 1 champions are desperate to add midfield reinforcements given Adrien Rabiot is set to leave on a free transfer and have previously looked at Kante.
However, the France international has always been content with life in England and even signed a new deal at Stamford Bridge back in September 2018.
But after failing to sign Everton star Idrissa Gana Gueye back in January, it is understood PSG will try and lure Kante back to his native country with a mammoth offer.
The Blues have been hit with a two-window transfer ban and are set to lose star man Eden Hazard to Real Madrid this summer.
But it could be about to get a lot worse as the Daily Mirror claim PSG will better Kante’s wages and will make an offer that is likely to be ‘too big to ignore’.
The 28-year-old is valued at around £90million by the west Londoners, who can ill-afford such a crucial member of their first-team.
Mateo Kovacic is set to return to Real Madrid after failing to impress on loan and Ruben Loftus-Cheek is likely to miss up to a year with an Achilles injury.
Kante was left in London as the Blues played a friendly match in Boston, Massachusetts in the week in order for him to step up his recovery with the club’s physios.
